The product is a client-server based application running on a PC workstation or on an Intel-based Mac. You can use PressView as a ‘stand-alone’ solution on a PC or use it as a client, with continuous connection with a separate in-house PressView server or an external Colorware PressView server. The latter has a clear advantage that people can easily login and consult PressView from any place in the world at any time.
All PressView clients will have access to another so called “Colorware Exchange Server”. This server takes care of updates, values and information on ISO standards, information on paper and ink, all available print strips and colour bars for use with PressView.
