Description: A range of tear resistant & durable films, banner vinyl & cloth products designed for use with pigment based (UV) inks on any wide format printer but also suitable with most dye and mild solvent based inks. The Polyethylene resin coated surface combined with an ultra smooth ink jet coating prevents paper cockle and yields photo realistic images which can be archived for longer periods of time. The matt, low reflective surface of GAMUT pigment coated media provides optimum viewing in any lighting environment. Enhancements to the desirable gloss level required can be achieved with GAMUT laminating films.

Water Resistance: Yes

Printer and Ink Compatibility: The material can be printed with all water based inks designed for wide format printers Using water based pigment inks will usually yield greater light stability and excellent water resistance. Excellent results can be achieved with mild solvent ink systems providing the correct ICC profile is chosen.

Lamination: These products should be over laminated and will accept most cold laminates and low temperature hot laminating materials. When the photo base is over laminated with heavy gauge laminates and either mounted to a board or encapsulated, overlap the image with a 0.25″ safe edge of laminate. This will seal the photo base paper, preventing moisture absorption and paper splitting. Use laminates of equal gauge when encapsulating to prevent image curl. Over laminating will also decrease the rate at which the images fade.

Mounting: Cold pressure sensitive adhesives typically provide the most aggressive bonds and are recommended for use with these products. Caution should be used when mounting with seal “Mount Back” material as adhesive failure could occur.

UV Quickdry White Films

Smooth, matt & high strength tear resistant polypropylene films with a water & scratch resistant coating suitable for UV (pigment) based inkjet printers including HP, Roland and others. Also accepts mild solvent and dye based inks.

UV Adhesive Vinyls – 5mil

Smooth, thick, opaque & matt monomeric short to medium terms vinyls laminated with a clear permanent acrylic based solvent adhesive and 120gsm silicone coated paper liner. Laminated with a water & scratch resistant coating suitable for UV (pigment) based inkjet printers including HP, Roland and others. Also accepts mild solvent and dye based inks.

UV Frontprint Backlit Polyester Film – 5mil

A flat, gloss polyester film coated with a water & scratch resistant coating suitable for UV (pigment) based inkjet printers including HP, Roland and others. Also accepts mild solvent and dye based inks.

UV Fabric & Banner

High Strength knitted fabric’s, scrim banner vinyl and canvas laminated and / or coated with water & scratch resistant coatings suitable for UV based inkjet printers including HP, Roland and others. Also accepts mild solvent and dye based inks.
