Media Wedge

The Media Wedge feature allows to analyse the Ugra/ FOGRA Media Wedge.

Step by step:

How to measure a Media Wedge:
1. Choose the correct FOGRA Reference Data out of the list that apears.
There is a list inthe appendix of the manual to assign the file Name to the
measurement conditions.

2. Now measure the fields one by one.

A ΔE to the single references is shown immediately. Wrong single measurements can be deleted by pressing the red button once. Holding the red button deletes all values.

3. After taking the whole set the analysis is shown:

All single values are stored in the device. You can store up to 5 Media Wedges. Any Media Wedge taken after the 5th one will overwrite the first one.
For easier handling an automatic measurement mode can be selected. After a defined time a measurement will be taken without pressing the green button. To select this mode choose “automatic measurement” in the Measurement condition “Media Wedge Setup”.
If taking a double lined media wedge it is useful to interrupt this mode and the end of the first line by pressing the red button. Now you have enough time to locate the device on the first pattern of line 2. Pressing the green button restarts the automatic mode.
